The driveway parking area of this home is adjacent to the backyard. You may have the same situation at your home. There first needed to be a separation between these two spaces followed by some “point of entry” to the backyard. This handcrafted wood arbor satisfied both requirements.
The benefits are felt on both sides of this structural and planted separation. The parking area now has a clearly defined space & purpose without mixing with the living area in the backyard. And when the visitor finally passes through the arbor…well, I’ll let you be the judge.
